The Story

Once upon a time, back in the student years, I had to study a book about photography for the Digital Photography course we had in the Graphic Design school. The book’s text was really outdated, the example images awful and the one thought that I always had in mind was “I wish I had designed this book”.

Long story short, almost 5 years later, me and the publisher became good friends and were doing some business together. One day, they asked me to redesign that old fashioned book they were still using in the schools, and I immediately agreed. Not long after I realized that, as a photographer, they also have asked me to rewrite all the content of that book! On one hand, I became anxious about not being qualified enough to accomplish something like this, but on the other hand I saw an amazing opportunity and an even bigger challenge.

Now, it’s a great pleasure and honor for me to present you my own book about digital photography! It’s available in Greek and it includes everything that an amateur photographer needs to know.

In more details, it includes essential info about the different types of cameras, lenses, files, filters and memory cards, it explains how a digital camera works and how to achieve a correct exposure. Learn the most basic rules of composition, photography tips for the most popular types of photography and how to deal with some common problems.
